Terms of Service

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PlayerBulletin.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

PlayerBulletin is a team management platform designed for sports organizations, clubs, and schools. The Service provides tools for roster management, scheduling, communication, player development feedback, payment collection, and related features.

The Service is NOT a substitute for professional coaching, medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, or any other professional service. Player development feedback and evaluations provided through the Service are opinions of the individuals who create them and do not constitute professional assessments.

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Minors' Data: Player data for individuals under 18 may only be entered and managed by their parent, legal guardian, or authorized team administrator (coach, team manager). By entering data about a minor, you represent that you have the legal authority to do so.

Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

Account Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Post or transmit content that is defamatory, obscene, offensive, or promotes hatred or violence
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Upload malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or related systems
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or collect data from the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers/networks connected to the Service
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
• Circumvent any access controls, rate limits, or security features
• Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to content you create, upload, or share through the Service ("User Content"), including messages, feedback, photos, documents, and other materials. By using the Service, you grant PlayerBulletin a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, store, display, reproduce, and transmit your User Content solely as necessary to provide and improve the Service.

Content Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant the license above and that your content does not violate any third party's rights or any applicable law.

Our Intellectual Property: The Service, including its design, code, branding, logos, documentation, and all other materials created by PlayerBulletin, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our written permission.

Feedback to Us: Any suggestions, ideas, or feedback you provide about the Service may be used by us without any obligation to you.

The Service allows users to create and share content including messages, feedback, evaluations, and media. We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any User Content.

Player development feedback, evaluations, and coaching notes are the subjective opinions of the individuals who create them. They do not represent the views of PlayerBulletin and should not be relied upon as professional assessments.

We are not responsible for any decisions made based on User Content, including but not limited to coaching decisions, player placement, or team selection.

Pricing: Certain features of the Service may require payment. Fees are as displayed at the time of purchase and are subject to change with notice.

Payment Processing: Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. We are not responsible for errors or failures in payment processing by Stripe.

Team Payments: Team administrators may collect payments from team members through the Service. PlayerBulletin facilitates these transactions but is not a party to the financial arrangement between team administrators and members. Disputes about team payments should be resolved between the parties involved.

Refunds: Team administrators may issue full or partial refunds for payments collected through the Service. Refund policies are determined by the team or organization, not by PlayerBulletin. Refunds are processed through Stripe and may take 5-10 business days to appear on the payer's statement.

No Liability for Payments: We are not liable for any losses, damages, or disputes arising from payments made through the Service, including but not limited to failed transactions, unauthorized charges, or disputes between team members and administrators.

No Professional Advice: Coaching Content is created for informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute professional coaching, athletic training, medical, or physiological advice. All drills, exercises, and training activities carry inherent risk of injury.

Assumption of Risk: By using Coaching Content, you acknowledge that participation in sports and athletic activities involves inherent risks of physical injury, including but not limited to sprains, fractures, concussions, and other bodily harm. You assume full responsibility for evaluating the appropriateness of any drill or exercise for your players' age, skill level, physical condition, and medical history.

Age Appropriateness: While Coaching Content is organized by age bands, it is the coach's sole responsibility to verify that any drill or exercise is appropriate for the specific players on their team. Players' physical development, experience level, and medical clearances must be considered before implementing any training activity.

No Guarantee of Accuracy: PlayerBulletin makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, safety, or suitability of any Coaching Content. Diagrams, field setups, and drill descriptions may contain errors. Coaches should use their professional judgment and verify all content before implementation.

Medical Clearance: We strongly recommend that all players obtain medical clearance before participating in any athletic activity. If a player has a known injury, medical condition, or physical limitation, coaches must modify or exclude drills accordingly.

No Liability: PlayerBulletin is not liable for any injury, illness, death, or damage of any kind arising from the use of Coaching Content, including but not limited to injuries resulting from following drill instructions, implementing training plans, or relying on session library diagrams.

No Driver Screening: PlayerBulletin does not perform background checks, driving record checks, license verification, or insurance verification on any driver, including student drivers. The minimum age requirement for student drivers is a platform setting only and does not constitute verification of legal driving eligibility.

Insurance Responsibility: It is the sole responsibility of drivers and their parents/guardians to ensure adequate auto insurance coverage for all passengers. PlayerBulletin does not verify insurance status and makes no representation that any driver is insured.

Parental Responsibility: Parents and guardians must independently verify the safety, legality, and insurance coverage of any carpool arrangement before allowing their child to participate. Granting carpool consent through the platform does not transfer liability to PlayerBulletin or the team organization.

No Liability: PlayerBulletin is not liable for any accident, injury, death, property damage, or loss arising from any transportation or carpool arrangement coordinated through the Service, regardless of whether the arrangement was suggested, organized, or facilitated by the platform.

AI-Assisted Features: The Service offers optional AI-powered features including feedback polishing, post-game report generation, and coaching suggestions. These features use third-party AI services to process your content.

AI Limitations: AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, biases, or inappropriate suggestions. AI output is not reviewed by PlayerBulletin before delivery to you. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any AI-generated content before sharing it with players, parents, or other team members.

Not Professional Advice: AI-generated feedback, evaluations, and reports do not constitute professional coaching, psychological, educational, or medical assessments. They should not be used as the sole basis for player development decisions, team selection, or any other consequential determination.

Data Processing: When you use AI features, the text you submit (including feedback about players) is sent to a third-party AI service for processing. By enabling AI features, you consent to this data transfer. We recommend that you do not include sensitive medical, behavioral, or personal information about players in AI-processed feedback.

No Liability: PlayerBulletin is not liable for any harm, damage, or adverse outcome resulting from the use of AI-generated content, including but not limited to emotional distress, reputational harm, or decisions made based on AI output.

By You: You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, including but not limited to violations of these Terms, suspected fraudulent activity, or if we discontinue the Service. We will not be liable for any losses resulting from account suspension or termination.

Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including but not limited to Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Disclaimer of Warranties, and Dispute Resolution) shall survive.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PlayerBulletin, its officers, directors, employees, agents, partners, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, demands, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to:

• Your use of the Service
• Your User Content
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of a third party
• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Any dispute between you and another user of the Service
• Any claim by a third party related to your User Content

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of government, fire, floods, power outages, internet or telecommunications failures, cyberattacks, or failures of third-party services (including but not limited to Supabase, Stripe, Google, Vercel, or Cloudflare).

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which PlayerBulletin is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent possible and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PlayerBulletin regarding the Service and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, representations, warranties, and understandings.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver of any provision shall be effective only if in writing and signed by PlayerBulletin.
